Looking Back at Punta Nata, 1982

WordPress Photo Challenge: This week, share a collage with us. It can be a collage you find out in the world — a grouping of flyers on a telephone pole, patches of plants in a bed of flowers, a parking lot checkered with colorful cars — or a collage made of multiple photos.

Punta Nata
Top, left to right: Woman making tortillas; Collecting the last of the water supply; Tree, the focal point as you arrive in the village; Water carrier happy to pose for a photo. Bottom, left to right: The child-military rises in the morning and reports to duty; A sunset gathering was a ritual at la playa; This woman was one of our protectors, but was mostly there to keep the kids in line. We, however, were protected by an army that formed a concentric circle around us “Americanos.”

For a little more background info about this trip you can go back a few weeks to a previous post here.
